A few words
Ramona is named after my grandmother. She’s inspired me all my life with her grace and humour and style. I always keep these values in mind – and try to approach my work with as much heart as she has.
In my jewelry, I’m drawn to simple shapes and the timeless elegance of clean forms. Although most of my concepts are very clean and geometric, I take inspiration from nature, and I enjoy playing with optical illusions and lines drawn from great architecture. Every one of my pieces is handcrafted – and I love working on commissions. There’s something about creating something truly unique, for a true individuals, that I think I will always find rewarding.
I work mainly in gold, silver, and selected gemstones – for now. I’m always exploring new directions and new conceptual territory, working mostly from my Vancouver studio. I honestly feel privileged to do this work, and I hope some of that gratitude expresses itself in my line.
